About Kelly Armstrong

Kelly Armstrong OTR/L, MPP, is a pain management specialist, an advocate for integrative health and healing and a practicing Occupational Therapist for the past 20 years. Her expertise is attained from her vast clinical experience and world-wide education. Graduating with honors, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Postgraduate and continuing education, Kelly specialized in the highly complex field of Sensory Integration Praxis Tests (SIPT). She also traveled for 5 years throughout Asia, training, practicing and honing her therapeutic skills. Her hands-on experience in a wide variety of clinical settings and private practice has become the foundation of her passion for healing patients.

Armstrong is an internationally recognized speaker in the field of chronic pain management. Presenting at numerous speaking engagements, she is currently a sought after international speaker and pain management educator. Her all-American, southern charm coupled with her extensive integrative medical education makes for a knowledgeable, approachable personality with heart.

Armstrong is an international published author, titles: Functional Acupuncture for Women’s Health and co-author of Functional Acupuncture for Pain Management. She has authored several transcripts, publications and blogs on chronic pain, and integrative healing.

Even with Armstrong’s busy schedule she always finds time to give back to the community. She has volunteered for years at homeless shelters and food banks, working as a missionary to build a church in Brazil, she was instrumental with Habitat for Humanity and building homes for those in need. She also regularly volunteers treating chronic pain PTSD victims who are unable to afford or obtain chronic pain treatments.

Kelly Armstrong with a plethora of accomplishments feels her best accomplishment is her family. She enjoys being a wife and mother to 4 beautiful children, currently residing in St. Augustine, Florida.
